Sometimes I wish I hadn’t lived. That overdose was meant to kill me. I didn’t want to live and then I have moments when I look at my child and my Ma and cat and think -these are the people and moments to live for.
Life isn’t easy and no one ever said it is easy. I am lonely -I don’t mind being alone but loneliness is a particular kind of poison that will feed into all my securities -to the point I will put up with anyone even if they treat me like shit.
I don’t need those kind of people in my life. I want my life back. I screwed up in so many ways. It doesn’t mean that my life and who I am and what I look like is not worthy of being happy and loving myself.
Surround yourself with people who make you feel good.
We have survived another day- I want to get back to living life.

You’re so strong and brave to be so honest and open – I’ve always admired you for that.
Humans are a very social species, and without the social contact we desire and crave… we can become desperate to find it in whatever way we can – including the kind of social contact that can be manipulative and destructive.
The important thing to recognise is that this is normal, because loneliness affects everyone… and so do the lengths we’ll try to go to for that connection.
The best thing to do, I think, is to find ways to socialise that are not only positive, but beneficial to your well-being.
Eventually the kind of connections you desire will come along – usually when least expected.
Stay strong, stay positive, love yourself, and be your own best friend.
Lots of love to you xox

i hope you can live in the present more each. You have love, respect and trust in the present; focus on them and they will see you through. The mere fact that you could talk so candidly about what happened tells me you are beginning to move on.
