I’ve never seen you express yourself through video.
You’re so bravo for speaking, and I could never do what you do. When watching your video…I felt sad and I cried.

Daisy, big hugs from me to you…and I’m always here for you my friend.

  4. I don’t really have a whole lot of advice to actually help you with PIP, the Government and SS, but I hope what I can offer is worth something…

As a child my parents had to deal with SS due to me always being off school because of my then-undiagnosed illness. Eventually my parent’s managed to get them to help us, and SS are there to help you, too. Though unfortunately there’s been a lot of cuts from the Government (surprise surprise), but I’m certain they’ll find ways to help you, too.

My parents had to dig and dig to get the Government to help them, because like you mentioned, it’s not signposted. It’s like they keep it secret, and only those with the resources, time and idea to go searching for it can get the help they offer.

Also, if you haven’t already, my parents used CAB a lot for help… So perhaps they can help you, too?

I’m sorry you’re having a tough time right now, but I hope you have a circle of safety with loved ones to help support you.

And please, please change your mindset on medication. Yeah, it is pretty demoralising to have to rely on them… But if you do, that’s OK!!. They are there specifically to HELP YOU and help you cope, and manage, and feel BETTER. I hate medication, but I’ve been taking anti-depressants for over 3 years now… I’m not even sure I’ll ever get off them, but I came to peace with that… Why? Because if the only way I can get my head above water is by taking them, then damn right I’m going to take them… Because no one wants to feel themselves drowning, you know? Rely on your medication, embrace it, be proud of it. Be glad science found them to help people, you know? Shout it from the roof tops. Don’t be ashamed to take medication, because that’s a step towards very important self care.

We all fall down, but once we’re on the ground the only view is UP.

You’re such a strong and amazing woman in so many ways. Keep fighting, stay strong, chin up sweetheart ❤

Sending you SO many virtual hugs. Also, lots of love to your mum. She’s a lovely lady, and I hope she’s better soon, too.

Get help, and don’t be afraid to take help. Damn it, if it makes you better and helps you find confidence and health and a better mind set, take their damned money, you know? I know you’d never let your precious Bee suffer in any way, so why allow yourself to suffer? You want to teach her that self-care is equally important as taking care of those you love.

You can’t pour from an empty cup ❤

Just a thought. I understand that sometimes it’s important to keep pride, but what is pride over health? It’s to help your daughter as much as it’s to help you. I hope you’ll understand this coming from a place in my heart that deeply cares about you and your gorgeous daughter. I know, though, not having children myself means I can’t speak from experience, so my only ask is that you keep it in mind, OK? Take care of you, too. It’s a tender subject, and I don’t want to step on your toes. I just want you to know I’m here supporting you too.

And if you can try to find someone to talk to – preferably a professional.

Sending you lots and lots of virtual hugs. Girl, you’re a fighter, and you’ll fight your way through. I know you will ❤

Here’s CAB’s website just in case you haven’t got it/seen it xox
